One-of-a-kind art — burned, drawn, and painted on reclaimed wood.
Nothing wasted. Everything transcendent.
"I find a piece of wood that someone threw away, and I see what it's supposed to become."
40 years of drawing. Burned lines on broken planks. Marker on scrap oak. Paint on pallet wood. The material tells me what it wants to be — I just listen.
It started at five years old with a Garfield cartoon. Jason saw Jim Davis's work and thought, "If I can draw Garfield, I can work for Jim Davis. I'm only five." That confidence never left.
Four decades later, Jason works across pyrography, marker illustration, and painting — always on found and reclaimed wood. A broken cabinet door becomes a Pikachu. A discarded pallet becomes the battleground for Venom and Carnage. Old oak from someone's trash becomes a playing card with the Joker and Harley Quinn, with burn marks where the wood grain demanded darkness.
His signature — a stylized JG that echoes the Superman symbol — is rendered in the exact colors used in each piece. Every signature is unique to its artwork, just like every piece of wood is unique to its origin.
Jason's art doesn't stop at the original piece. Prints, apparel, laser-burned reproductions, and 3D-printed sculptures are all in the works — new ways to bring transcendent art into your world.
Every original is one-of-a-kind. Interested in a piece, a commission, or just want to talk art? Reach out directly — Jason responds personally to every inquiry.
